Frequently Asked Questions
Each service begins with a consultation. Once we have received some preliminary information from you, we will arrange to meet with you to finalize a menu and details for your event, or to finalize a lesson plan that meets your interests and needs.
This meeting should be in the home where the food preparation, cooking, and dining will take place so that we can assess what will be needed to ensure your event goes smoothly, or what will be needed to conduct the lesson.
We bring with us everything we need for food preparation and cooking. Typically for a smaller dinner party, the host will be responsible for providing the serving dishes, dinnerware and cutlery, etc. Depending on the menu, catering style, and number of guests, we will provide some of the dishes or make arrangements to acquire what is needed. This is all worked out in the consultation and planning stages.
For cooking lessons, we provide the tools needed to conduct the lesson including single-burner portable stoves. We can also provide tables to accommodate larger groups.
