What better way to welcome the fall than with a pot of comforting homemade soup warming on the stove? Learn the basics of creating a delicious stock that we will incorporate into a variety of simple soups that can be made quickly any day of the week. Enjoy sampling your creations during the class and taking the leftovers home.

 

THIS IS A HANDS-ON COOKING LESSON FOR ADULTS OF ALL COOKING LEVELS (registrants will be divided into groups of 2 or 3 depending on class size)

Creamy Tomato Basil Soup w/ Parmesan Cheddar Croutons
You’ll never want to go back to the canned stuff after you learn to make this easy, creamy tomato soup bursting with multi-dimensional flavour. Our healthy version lowers the calories without sacrificing flavour, and will fill your heart with childhood memories.

Curried Butternut Squash Soup
Simple to make, but complex in flavour. This roasted butternut squash soup is infused with coconut milk and curry powder. A soul warming, flavourful soup that’s perfect for fall and winter.

Corn & Potato Chowder
This hearty, creamy soup warms the soul on those colder days. Made with sweet corn, tender potatoes, and smoky bacon, you’ll want to add this delicious soup to the recipe rotation.
